Petrobras And CNOOC Ink Deal For Pure Gasoline Stream And Processing
Brazilian state-owned oil and fuel main Petrobras has signed a contract for the built-in pure fuel processing system (SIP) with China’s CNOOC Petroleum Brasil.
It’s value noting that Petrobras, along with Petrogal Brasil, Repsol Sinopec, and Shell – companions within the Santos Basin pre-salt offshore fuel pipelines – concluded the method of CNOOC’s adhesion to the contracts relating to the built-in pure fuel movement system within the Santos Basin.
With the signing of those contracts, CNOOC will have the ability to transport the pure fuel from the Búzios subject, positioned within the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, via any of the export routes and course of it within the vegetation owned by Petrobras, enabling direct service to the pure fuel market by CNOOC from January 1, 2023.
That is one other step by Petrobras in constructing an open, aggressive, and sustainable pure fuel market and is a part of the set of commitments assumed with the Administrative Council for Financial Protection in July 2019.
The Santos Basin pure fuel movement system includes Routes 1, 2, and three of the Santos Basin pre-salt pole and the SIP consists of the processing vegetation linked to the Santos Basin movement system, owned by Petrobras, positioned in Caraguatatuba, São Paulo, Cabiúnas and Itaboraí.
Along with Santos Basin movement system and the SIP, since 2022, Petrobras additionally shares the Pure Gasoline Stream System of Guamaré (SEG Guamaré) and the pure fuel processing plant at UPGN Guamaré with Potiguar E&P, a subsidiary of PetroReconcavo.
