Fairview Heights man charged as armed routine legal in Madison County
EDWARDSVILLE – A Fairview Heights man allegedly present in possession of a stolen handgun has additionally been charged as an armed routine legal by the Madison County State’s Lawyer’s Workplace.
Dmarko M. Phipps, 34, of Fairview Heights, was charged Dec. 28 with being an armed routine legal, a Class X felony, and illegal possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony.
The case was introduced by the Alton Police Division.
Based on courtroom paperwork, on Dec. 21 Phipps allegedly had a reported stolen CANIK TP9SE 9 mm handgun.
